Who we are
Husband and Wife Team: Steve & Sarah.
Sarah has run a retail shop (Mimic Gifts) in the town since 2019, before that a trader on the town’s market. The current premises in a grade II listed building in the town centre, with a unique 500yr old cellar underneath the shop… it was crying out to host an escape room!
Sarah was born in Bletchley but grew up the Midlands and moved this direction after University. Steven grew up in the Reading area. They met whilst working in South Germany and have lived together in Leighton Buzzard since 2004. One wedding, two children and whole lot of history!
Why The Great Train Robbery? Well its a famous local event, occuring a few miles up the train line from Leighton Buzzard. Ronnie Biggs & gang commited the crime on the 8th Aug 1963, on Ronnie’s birthday. Coincidentally, the 8th of Aug is also Sarah’s birthday! It was just meant to be …
